Privacy Policy

Audos Inc. ("Audos," "we," "us," or "our") operates https://hi.audos.com (the "Service"), a platform that helps businesses manage advertising campaigns and customer messaging across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and Google Ads on their behalf. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide directly

When you create an account, we collect your name, business name, email address, and authentication credentials. When you connect a third-party advertising or messaging account (Meta, LinkedIn, Google), we receive the OAuth tokens and account identifiers you authorize.

b) Data accessed from connected platforms

With your authorization, we access platform data through official APIs to provide the Service. The categories below reflect the scopes you grant during the OAuth consent flow:

  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Page and Instagram Business account profile data, message threads and comments on Pages you manage, ad account metadata, campaign and ad-set configurations, ad creative assets, ad performance metrics, and webhook events for messages and comments. Scopes typically requested include pages_messaging, pages_manage_posts, pages_read_engagement, instagram_basic, instagram_manage_messages, instagram_manage_comments, ads_management, ads_read, and business_management.
  • LinkedIn: Authenticated member profile (name, email, profile ID), organization pages you administer, organization posts and analytics, ad accounts, campaign data, and ad performance metrics. Scopes typically requested include r_liteprofile, r_emailaddress, w_member_social, r_organization_social, w_organization_social, rw_organization_admin, rw_ads, and r_ads_reporting.
  • Google Ads: Google Ads customer (account) IDs you authorize, campaign and ad-group configurations, ad creatives, conversion data, and performance metrics. The scope requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. We may also request userinfo.email and userinfo.profile to identify the authenticating user.

c) Information collected automatically

We collect log data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps), error traces (via Sentry), and usage events necessary to operate, secure, and debug the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide the core Service: creating, editing, and reporting on advertising campaigns; sending and receiving messages on your behalf; processing webhook events.
  • To generate AI-assisted responses to inbound customer messages, when you have enabled that feature, by forwarding message content to language model providers (see Section 4).
  • To maintain account security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To communicate with you about your account, the Service, and material changes to this policy.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

Audos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, we do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the Service (and not for serving ads), and we do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your explicit consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Connected platforms: When you instruct the Service to publish a post, run an ad, or send a message, the relevant content is transmitted to Meta, LinkedIn, or Google Ads as applicable.
  • Subprocessors: Supabase and DigitalOcean (managed Postgres hosting), Railway (application hosting), Sentry (error monitoring). Each is contractually bound to handle data only on our instructions.
  • AI providers (when enabled): If AI-assisted messaging is turned on for your account, message content may be sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google (Gemini) to generate a response. These providers process the data under their own terms and do not use it to train their models on inputs sent through their commercial APIs.
  • Legal: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Audos, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described here.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account data and connected-platform data for as long as your account is active. Message and webhook event records are retained for up to 24 months for support and analytics purposes, after which they are deleted or aggregated.

You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from your account settings, which immediately revokes our stored OAuth tokens. To delete your account and all associated data, email osborn@audos.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

OAuth tokens and credentials are stored encrypted at rest. All data is transmitted over TLS. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and logged. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at osborn@audos.com.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice prior to taking effect.
